Darek is a Living History of Polish Advertising: started his professional career back in 1989 in Stockholm as freelancer designer. He joined Leo Burnett Warsaw in 1993 as Art Director. In 1997 he was promoted to Associate Creative Director. In 1999, he became Creative Director Leo Burnett Warsaw. In January 2011, he started a career as commercials director. Ever since he shot commercials for clients such as: Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, Danone, BGK Bank, Polish Humanitarian Action, Fundacja Nasza Ziemia, Glaxo Smith Kline, Cyfra+, IdeaBank, Orange, Centralna Komisja Egzaminacyjna, Vision Express, PARP, Polska Akcja Humanitarna, Unilever, Kimberly - Clark, KFC, Subway, Samsung, IdeaBank, Polpharma, Carlsberg, Huawei, Nestle and others.
In 2010 Darek was honored by a star in Golden Drum Hall of Fame - one of the first eleven persons of merit in the region. His name is at no fewer than 49 Bronze, Silver and Golden Drums and Grand Prix. He has put on no less than 7 golden watches for creative directors of the very best advertising campaigns.
In 2019, Dariusz Zatorski received the award "Hall of Fame". "The Hall of Fame" honours people who have been contributing a unique quality to the advertising industry for many years with their work, dedication, talent and creativity. Honourable mentions are granted for the entire work of the most meritorious people in the creative industry by the KTR (Advertising Creators Club) management.
