Lukasz Zadrzynski - Director
Born in Warsaw, where he studied philosophy at the University of Warsaw. In 1991 he graduated from the Directing Department of Lodz Film School. He made his debut as a director of TV theatre - ‘Milosc po dziewiatej / Love after Nine’, based on the play by iconic Polish writer - Janusz Glowacki. Lukasz early on became a cult figure, as the author of the music video for T. Love’s – ‘Chlopaki nie placza / Boys Don’t Cry’, he was awarded the best music video of the year with Fryderyk Award. He is award-winning director for commercial productions ever since – three Tytan Awards at Crackfilm, and two Grand Prix at the Kreatura Advertising Film Festival. He is director of over 200 commercials for network as well as for local Agencies, among them: AD Fabrika FCB, DDB, D’Arcy, Legend Group, Grey, BBDO Warszawa, McCann Erickson, Publicis, TBWA, Upstairs Young & Rubicam. He shot a great deal of projects abroad – in Cuba, Quatar and Russia. He is well acclaimed for his work with actors and his ability to introduce humour and wit into his commercials.
