DECEMBER X ZIELIŃSKI

December x Zieliński is a creative director–DoP–photographer duo formed by Katie December and Hubert Zieliński - partners in both life and art. For over 11 years, they have been crafting original projects that seamlessly blend visual arts, film, and photography.

Hubert graduated from the cinematography department at the Łódź Film School, while Katie - formerly an Art Director at PLEASE Productions - naturally transitioned into directing, following her long-standing passion for visual storytelling. Both have years of experience working within production companies, which gave them a deep understanding of every stage of the production process - from concept development and shooting to post-production. This background allows them to approach projects in a way that is both highly creative and holistically structured.

They specialize in short-form digital content, fashion films, and commercials, known for their refined mix of artistic aesthetics, surrealism, and offbeat humor. In 2019, they created a campaign for PERŁA Brewery’s alcohol-free beer that featured real passionate individuals instead of actors - a concept that proved so effective it continues to this day. They have shot it across the globe, with locations in Spain, France, and South Africa.

Their late-2024 ad for FALKO alcohol-free wine, featuring Michał Żebrowski and Elwira Rutkowska-Łabęcka, received widespread acclaim on social media, amassing over 1.4 million views and nearly 2,000 positive comments on Instagram.

Their client list includes brands like Adidas, Diesel, Lacoste, Converse, MTV, Disney+, Vitkac, Modivo, Oppo, and Browar Perła. They have also shot a cover and editorial for the Serbian edition of ELLE and published a 10-page spread of their original photography in the prestigious September issue of VOGUE Czechia.
