Her work encompasses feature films, television series, and commercials, spanning both historical and contemporary stories.
She received the Polish Film Award (Eagle) for Best Costume Design for The Last Family, directed by Jan P. Matuszyński, and has continued a long-standing creative collaboration with the director on acclaimed productions including The King of Warsaw and, most recently, Minghun, starring Marcin Dorociński. Her work on Minghun earned her a nomination for Best Costume Design at the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
Her filmography also includes Kinga Dębska’s Zupa nic and Bartosz Blaschke’s award-winning debut Sonata, both presented in the Main Competition at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, with Sonata also competing at Camerimage.
Recent projects demonstrate the breadth of her artistic range, from Netflix’s The Green Glove Gang and Maciej Kawalski’s critically acclaimed Dangerous Men to Sami Swoi. Początek. Her latest television work is Heaven: A Year in Hell, a six-part psychological drama inspired by true events and set in the early 1990s. Premiering on HBO Max, the series follows a young idealist who abandons university to join a religious cult.
Fluent in English and French, Emilia combines meticulous historical research with a strong visual sensibility, creating costumes that deepen character and enrich cinematic storytelling.
