Polish music composer for film, commercials, and theater, based in Warsaw. Music producer and owner of a recording studio. Member of ZAIKS.
He studied at the Department of Sociology at Collegium Civitas. In 2019, he was nominated for the best original music Award for The Mire (Polish TV series directed by Jan Holoubek) at the Film Music Festival in Krakow.
Music composer for such films as "Panie Dulskie" (dir. Filip Bajon), "Snow White and Russian Red", "Chaos" (dir. Xawery Żuławski), "Apokawixa" (dir. Xawery Żuławski), "Doppelgänger. Sobowtór" (dir. Jan Holoubek) and TV series "The Mire" (dir. Jan Holoubek), "High Water" (dir. Jan Holoubek, Bartłomiej Ignaciuk), His recent project are TV series "Heweliusz" and "Rojst 3. Millenium" (both dir. Jan Holoubek). For his score to feature film "Kulej" Jan was nominated to Polish Film award - Eagle Award. Additionally, the score for "Kulej" was nominated for the Polish Soundtrack of the Year 2024 award, further confirming the composer’s recognition within the industry.

Since Wednesday (November 5), the long-awaited series "Heweliusz" with Jan's score has been available to watch on Netflix. The production about the ferry sinking has already become the platform’s most-watched title. What’s more, it’s also receiving very positive reviews from viewers, who admit that they experienced intense emotions while watching it. "Heweliusz" has been honoured with four major awards at this year’s BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon festival, reaffirming its position as one of the most acclaimed Polish productions of the season. Among the distinctions, Jan Holoubek was awarded Best Direction, recognising his outstanding artistic vision and creative leadership. The festival jury also acknowledged Bartosz Kaczmarek for Best Cinematography, praising the series’ exceptional visual language. In addition, Heweliusz received the title of Best Polish Series 2025 and was further distinguished with The Audience Award, reflecting its strong impact on viewers and the enthusiasm of its growing fanbase.
