Marianna Mikołajczak-Lisiecka

Marianna is a versatile creative professional working in the art department as a production designer, art director, and set decorator. She specializes in television series and feature films, but her portfolio also includes music videos.

As a production designer, her credits include Netflix’s feature film Mother’s Day directed by Mateusz Rakowicz, the Netflix series Forst directed by Daniel Jaroszek, and the horror film Other People directed by Aleksandra Terpińska — a multiple award-winner at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

Her experience as an art director spans numerous projects, including her role as supervising art director on Jan Komasa’s upcoming feature Good Boy, starring Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough. The film is scheduled to premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival, with a wider release planned for 2026. She also worked as art director on the TV series UFO.

Marianna’s work also includes the feature Magnezja directed by Maciej Bochniak, which won Best Production Design (Marek Warszewski) at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, and Liczba doskonała directed by Krzysztof Zanussi. Her television credits feature productions such as Cracow Monsters, Zawsze Warto, and 1983. She also co-designed the set for a music video by the world-famous German industrial metal band Rammstein, working alongside Anna Marzęda.

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Poznań University of Technology, Marianna spent several years working in top architectural studios in Warsaw. This strong architectural background gives her a unique advantage in designing large-scale projects and building complex sets from the ground up.
