Zofia Komasa

Fine Art Academy graduate in Set Designing department, with specialty in Costume and Puppetry. She finished master’s programme on Directing on Devised and Object Theatre on Academy of Performing Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where she widened her interests in direction, theatre and set design.

She has been an author for the costume of many still shoots, commercials, music videos and theatre performances. Feature films experience that she aquired was supervised by outstanding Costume Designers while working on a set of Warsaw 44 and Passing bells. She has designed costumes to a Debussy’s Opera Bałtycka “L’Enfant prodigue”, co-working with the stage director Romuald Wicza- Pokojski in 2021. Zofia is collaborative costume designer, who brings a strong visual aesthetic, total commitment, and a tremendous work ethic to every project.

Every single film is a combination of client values and unmistakeable style.
She was awarded with the bronze KTR 2020 for costumes for Dawid Podsiadło's music video 'Trofea'. Last years she worked on costumes to feature films: “Johnny” directed by Daniel Jaroszek, “Kryptonim Polska” directed by Piotr Kumik, “Into the Wind” directed by Kristoffer Rus and distributed by Netflix, "Na chwilę, na zawsze" directed by Piotr Trzaskalski, "A Night In The Kindergarten" directed by Rafał Skalski.

She has enhanced her portfolio with tv series: "Matka" for Polsat Box directed by Piotr Trzaskalski and upcoming Netflix tv series "Forst" directed by Daniel Jaroszek, from noted Polish writer Remigiusz Mroz, which revolves around a crime-solving journey across the Polish Tatra Mountains.
