Kacper Zieliński

Kacper was born in Łódź in 1981. He is a graduate of Łódź Film School (Cinematography Department) and University of Łódź (English Philology). He gained experience through working as still photographer and camera operator with cinematographers such as Paweł Edelman, Bartek Kaczmarek and Łukasz Kośmicki. Kacper worked as cinematographer on TV series and commercials. He shot the highly acclaimed mid-length film Grandma’s Day (dir. M. Sakowski), winner of numerous festivals (i.a. Cottbus Film Festival and Foyle Film Festival).

Recently Kacperwas nominated for his work on tv series  Bay of Spies (Zatoka szpiegów - along with cinematographer Maciej Lisiecki) to BNP Paribas Warsaw SerialCon in category The Best Cinematography.

While watching one of his commercial spots, you might see his cinematic imaginery and a visual approach to storytelling that are both meticulous and engaging.
