Maciej Fajst

Maciej is a graduate of the High School of Theater and Film Techniques in Lodz, from the Modeling Department, and a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, from the Design and Industrial Forms Design Department.

Since 1999, he has been involved in production design for feature films, TV series, commercials and television programs. Since 2007, these are almost exclusively series and feature films. Since 2015, he has been working as an independent production designer.

He has worked with directors such as Borys Lankosz, Bartosz Konopka, Maciej Bochniak, Krzysztof Łukaszewicz, Bartłomiej Ignaciuk, Łukasz Jaworski, Adrian Panek, Filip Zylber. He also created set designs for Jan Holoubek's films: "25 Years of Innocence" and together with Marek Warszewski for "Doppelganger. The Double," which was the opening film of the Feature Film Festival in Gdynia and received awards in many categories. In the past two years he worked on production design for tv series "Skazana" and "Pati". Recently he has finished work on production design for second season of Netflix tv series "The Green Glove Gang".

Maciej says he can't get bored easily, he is constantly planning something, loves his profession and feels honored to be able to do it. He loves the moment when the cast is not yet in the film, and the production designer can already create the world of the characters - this moment of creation is the best for him.Then comes the fear - how to materialize it all - but he also loves this thrill.

Annually he cycles a distance equal to the Tour de France, which allows him to relieve stress effectively.
